Teleseminar Mistakes - Not Having a Call to Action Web Site for Your Teleseminar

One huge teleseminar mistake I see many marketer make is not having a CTA web site for their teleseminar.

A CTA stands for a call to action. A call to action web site allows the site to do the heavy lifting for you. You don't have to do all the selling on the call. What you do is train, deliver lots of content and promote with passion.

Marketing vs. Promotion

There's a difference between marketing and promotion.

Marketing equals changing minds. As a marketer, you want to change the mind of your listener, and you can do that.

Changing the mind of your listener doesn't mean you are going to get wallet share. Marketing is not going to get you a new student - promotion does that. Promotion changes behavior. Remember that.

Marketing is what you should do to give people the full story about what you have to offer. Your marketing gets them to visit the call-to-action web site. The web site is then doing the heavy lifting for you. When you market you are getting attention, interest and desire amped up.

Marketing gets your listener to check something out. Marketing can change your mind.

Promotion gets your listener to take action. Promotion changes behavior, and gets your listener to take your most desired action.

Most marketers make the mistake of not having a web site to do the promotion. They try to do both marketing and promotion on a teleseminar. Let your call to action web site do the work for you with your teleseminars.
